What are we Becoming?
We are half way through 5786, which means it is half-way through the netzach year of our current shmita cycle, which is the half-way point of the 7 year cycle.
Since I consider Sivan (סיון) to be the moon of receiving, I have a question for you…
What do you need to receive this month, this Shavuot, to determine what world you are helping to build that SHOULD endure? In the cosmic scheme of things, the netzach year is where we solidify what is being built for the NEXT shmita cycle. On top of all the other intensity of the upcoming mid-term elections, we can’t ignore that it’s also happening within this cosmic spiral. Every astrologer I follow has pointed out this is an incredibly unusual year, astrologically. Looking at the Strauss & Howe generational cycle theory, we should (finally) be at the tipping point of the current “crisis period.”
if that’s all too woo for you…
I’m baffled that you follow my work, and there’s the historical patterns of fascist regimes that the USA is following. Not to mention the lived reality.
What are we building?
That’s the question. Not — what or who are we fighting? Or even for whom are we fighting? We have to talk about what we are building and then work for it. Fighting is reactionary. Fights are inherently oppositional. Someone has to lose and someone has to win. I don’t want that. No one has to lose in the world I want to build.
Building requires vision, courage, dedication, skill, resilience, and love. Fighting only requires opposition.
We need fighters. We also need visionaries. But we need even more builders, crafters, makers, planters, and reapers.
I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about what I’m personally building and how that fits into the world I want to be a part of creating.
How about you?
Out and About!
It’s a busy month or two for me! That’s by design. I’ve got the vision, so now I need to test out the ways to build it.
So many ways to connect over the next couple of months:
Shavuot
I’ll be spending time with both Judaism Unbound and Beit Kohenet, once again this Shavuot. I’ll start the chag with Beit Kohenet taking us under the Sinai mountain to receive the revelations of the teachings of time. We’ll do a pathworking, talk divination, and do a little divination to receive collective and personal revelation. Then I’ll stay up WAY past my bedtime to talk about Agrat: the forgotten demon queen at ShavuotLive. I’ll share lore that I’ve spent months translating and why I think now is the time we need Agrat to join Lilith in the Jewish (liberatory, feminist, queer, magickal, earthbased) collective imagination.
Register to attend (all on Zoom):
Beit Kohenet Tikkun Leil: 7pm ET Thursday 5/21 to 6am ET Friday 5/22
THURSDAY: 5/21 - 8-8:50 pm ET
Under Sinai Mountain: Revelation through Divination with Kohenet Ketzirah Lesser
ShavuotLive with Judaism Unbound: 6pm ET Friday 5/22 - 5pm ET Saturday 5/23
SATURDAY: 5/23 - 1am ET
Agrat: the forgotten Jewish demon queen with Ketzirah Lesser
(Yes, stay up Friday night until it is 1am.)
Shavuot Seder of the Seven Prophetesses
Can’t attend either but want a powerful way to engage in Shavuot this year? I won’t be there with you in real time, but i created a special seder-style experience for Shavuot called the Shavuot Seder of the Seven Prophetesses.
A Netivot Wisdom Oracle (The Class)
I’m once again offering this four-part course diving deep into Eit/Aht: a Netivot Wisdom Oracle. In these sessions, I’ll guide you through the deck, how to work with it for divination and magick, as well as sharing teachings that you won't find in the guidebook. Learn about this oracle deck that is not only inherently Jewish, but also rooted in the teachings of the Kohenet movement. Great if you have the deck, but you do NOT need to purchase one for the class. All registrants will receive a digital copy of my 200+ page Netivot Wisdom Oracle workbook, which contains everything needed for the class. If you like hard copies, I do have one but order it ASAP. They are print on demand and take some time to arrive.
Mondays, June 1, 8, 22, and 29, 7:30-9 pm ET / 4:30-6 pm PT on Zoom

Collab with Hey Alma
So this hasn’t been officially announced yet, but I want my peeps to know about it first. I won’t spill all the beans, but put a hold on your calendar for 7/13/2026 from 8-9:30pm ET. Only, of course, if you’ve ever wanted to do Jewitchery 101 with me…
Mystic South
I’ve decided it’s time to start making my way around the magickal world again too! I’m starting this year with Mystic South in Atlanta from July 17-19 (2026). I’m scheduled against some pretty amazing other sessions, so I hope to see some familiar folks! If folks are going and would like to get together on Friday night for a brief Shabbat candle lighting, let me know!
Circle Casting as Sacred Practice with Ketzirah haMa’agelet
Sunday, July 19 10:30-11:30am
Casting a circle is a foundational part of magick, often it’s treated a means to an end.In this workshop, Ketzirah "haMa'agelet" (The Circle Maker) draws on over 25 years of dedicated study and practice to the sacred art of circle casting. Not only will Ketzirah unpack circle casting from her uniquely Jewitch perspective, but she will also share multiple techniques she has created for personal and group castings that work with both online and offline rituals: all of which can be adapted to fit most any magickal path.
Also worth noting that my friend Clifford Hartleigh Lowe, Jewish sorcerer extraordinaire, will also be presenting at Mystic South this year and there is another jewitchery session being presented by someone I don’t know.

Numerous as the Stars Tarot Update
In case you missed it, the latest reveal from my tarot deck in progress was The Magician, aka the pushcart peddler. Deep dive on why that choice and the imagery that informed the card’s illustration.
I also dove into what creating the Magician card taught me about creating the deck, and share some of my favorite or at least most influence Magican cards.
What is your favorite magician card or cards, and why?
